Ambassadors

What is an Ambassador?
Serving as a volunteer public relations committee, Ambassadors play an important role as liaisons for our Chamber members, as well as are highly visible at Chamber events. Ambassadors assist members by introducing them to the benefits and services of membership and serving as a conduit to engage in the Chamber.  Ambassador responsibilities include one-on-one visitations with Chamber businesses, event networking, participation in chamber committees and support of various programs and projects evolving around the business community.

Why would you or someone from your company become an Ambassador?
Ambassadors regularly tell us their participation in the group helps achieve professional and personal goals.  The networking opportunities offer Ambassadors the ability to expand their circle of influence and make stronger community connections.  The benefits of being an Ambassador include exposure and recognition for their business, mentorship from within the Ambassador Committee, and introductions to other business leaders.  As a result of their involvement in this vital member service role, Ambassadors often move on to participate in other chamber and civic/community leadership roles.

Want to get involved?
Ambassadors meet monthly on the second Tuesday at 8:30 AM.  If you are interested in more details or in joining the committee, please call the Chamber at 864-859-2693.
