On March 21, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce presented its Annual Small Business Awards at Tri-County Technical College-Easley Campus. Sponsored by Truliant Federal Credit Union, several businesses and individuals were honored for their leadership and community service.
Among those awards, Kelly Osteen with Cindy Fox Miller & Associates was honored as the 2023 Young Professional of the Year, which honors an emerging leader who strives to meet the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, who devotes time and energy to their community, and who serves as a role model for other young leaders and professionals.
Kelly Osteen is a true entrepreneur, hard worker, team player, community servant, and dedicated wife & mother. As a former owner of a hair salon and embroidery business and the current Executive Manager at Cindy Fox Miller & Associates, she has earned recognition and respect from her peers, colleagues, and community members alike.
In her job, Kelly is respected for her ability to handle complex tasks with ease, her positive attitude, and kind demeanor. Recently, she was awarded the "Above the Call" and "Accuracy Ace" distinguished achievement honors recognizing her as a driving force behind the company’s success. And she was recently promoted to Executive Assistant due to her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
In addition, Kelly has dedicated herself to serving the Easley & Powdersville communities in multiple capacities. She is a graduate of our YP-E3 Academy and is always providing support for our chamber events. Two years ago, she was recruited to serve as Treasurer for the Easley Little League Board of Directors, where her dedication to the League has inspired many young athletes to develop their skills, build their confidence, and pursue their dreams.
But her greatest joy is being a dedicated wife and mother. Kelly is the proud mother of two wonderful children, a 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. Despite her busy schedule, she is always there to support her children in their various endeavors. In addition, she and her family are active members of 5 Point Church in Easley.
She has earned a reputation as someone who goes above and beyond to serve those around her, and her selflessness and commitment to service have touched the lives of many in our community.
