Please join us as Dr. Seth Young, Superintendent for Anderson School District One, presents an overview of the District's overall accomplishments. Dr. Young will address the positive things students have going on, all the success with testing scores, and the new school; Oak Hill Elementary. Oak Hill Elementary will be located at 250 Oak Road in Piedmont and will alleviate the growth at Concrete Primary and Powdersville Elementary schools. There will be time for questions.

Dr. Seth Young officially started his role as Superintendent for Anderson County School District One on July 1, 2024. Dr. Young has been in the district for 21 years where he began as a math teacher at Wren High School and was also the JV Basketball team coach. In 2009, he was appointed Assistant Principal at Wren Middle School and then moved to Wren High School to be the Assistant Principal. He served the position for seven years before becoming the Principal of Wren High School. He later served as the Director of Student Services for Anderson School District One before taking over his current position as the Superintendent for Anderson School District One.
